Beautiful papers from Craftwork Cards Antiqued and Chinoiserie pads were used to make some serious cards for ‘thinking of you’ messages
I used the scan n cut to create a decoupage effect with the water lilies (very impressed with the direct cut feature now I have tried it) and the trellis strip (a border from the pattern library) plus some Candi as faux brads with a little wink of stella .
Sentiments are stamped inside to keep these cards from being too fussy
You seem much better than me at getting your Scan’N’Cut to do what you want, love your decoupage here. Lovely cards, ideal for a somber occasion

A bit hit and miss on the scan to direct cut function but I won’t buy dies so have to make the cutting machine work by trying different combinations of colour recognition and object size Today scanned my handwriting to make script sentiments. Loved that!

I still can’t get it to scan a premade topper to make a mat even!

I’m really no expert but think your topper needs a continuous dark border around the edge so the machine can pick up the contrast, haven’t tried it but maybe trace a line on acetate around, scan that in ? Also try switching between coulour and grey scale scanning?
