In the frame

Have you been dabbling in earring making but have filled your jewellry box?  If there is space left on a wall you can solve this problem, satisfy your crafty urge and you can admire your creations every time you look up.

Materials

• Photo frame (keep the backing, lose the glass)
• hessian or sacking piece big enough to wrap around the backing – I bodged a bit in the corner as my piece wasn’t quite big enough
• double sided tape or glue

How to

take backing card out of frame, wrap hessian tightly around backing, secure it well on the back, offer the backing up to the frame to check there are no gaps or sags then clip backing into the frame

choose and position earrings artistically!
